Tell us a little bit about yourself. I am a single mom of a freshman in high school. I love music, long walks along the beaches of Cheyenne…oh sorry thought this was a dating app.

When did you participate in Project Iowa’s program Cultivating Careers? February 2018

Why did you participate? I wanted assistance with polishing up my resume as I had been at the same job for 13 years and was going nowhere fast.

Describe your experience with Project Iowa and working through the program. I loved the cohort that I was in and the leaders that we had. Some of it was a little edgy as we actually had to take time and look at ourselves. We had to strip away the outside and see the seed inside that was still good and ready to be planted to grow and shine.
What are you doing differently now because you went through Project Iowa? I have a better outlook and a feeling of self-worth since I have attended the program.  I would have never dreamed of being where I am now.
Why does Project Iowa matter? Yes. It helps those who are lost and want assistance to find the right path to expand their career.

Why should others use Project Iowa’s services? Project Iowa’s services are beneficial to all parties, a legit win-win solution. Employers will have access to a pool of a good quality potential workers. Project Iowa’s participants will have bigger opportunity to have a job. Project Iowa as an organization will continue to exist and provide its services to other in needs.
